Manual Lymphatic Drainage is facilitated without any oil or lotions, the ‘massage’ is a gentle pumping action with gentle pressure and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow.
MLD is particularly beneficial for those suffering from lymphedema, an accumulation of fluid that can happen after lymph nodes are removed during surgery. It also benefits those living with chronic illnesses like MS, ME or fibromyalgia and women journeying through peri menopause.
